About the Project
We got approached by Federico Sarzi Amadè, Sous chef at Locanda Margon. This 1 star Michelin Restaurant is located in the countryside of Trento, surrounded by natural terraces and endless vineyards.
Chef Edoardo Fumagalli and the Sous Chef Federico Sarzi Amadè wanted to create a unique centerpiece that reminds of the beautiful surrounding.
They picked the stalk of a grape. After a brainstorming session, we designed an initial prototype based on the photo provided and modified it according to their needs. After a few iterations, the model was completed and approved.
We proceeded on producing all the necessary parts using SLA printing. The parts were post-processed by painting them in the color selected by the customer, and we coated each part with an epoxy resin that is safe for food contact.
